Are you a SHEQ Officer looking for a new job in the Banbridge area? Having gone from strength to strength, this award-winning contractor is hiring and I am now seeking a SHEQ Officer looking for the next step in their career to join their operations team. You will assist in the development and implementation of Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Programmes across the business, ensuring SHEQ management systems are maintained and continually improved.
As SHEQ Officer your new job will include the following:
- Support the business by providing advice on SHEQ requirements
- Provide SHEQ assistance across all areas of the business responding to queries and issues
- Create, review and update policies, documents and SHEQ alerts as required
- Propose initiatives for improvement within the business and assist in the coordination of business improvement projects
- Work with operational teams to identify and promote opportunities to improve business processes and produce business case reports for review and sanction by senior management
- Assist the SHEQ Manager with the coordination and completion of internal and external audits in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
The successful SHEQ Officer you will have the following skills:
- Knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice in Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
- Experience of audits, inspections and recommend preventative action
- A NEBOSH General Certificate
- Hold a valid driving licence
- Experience of CDM Regulations
