They are actively in search of a proficient Health and Safety Manager to join its growing team. Recognising the paramount importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of its team members, the company is seeking a Health and Safety manager who can develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The ideal Health and Safety Manager will be a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, committed to fostering a culture of safety excellence within the organisation.

The job

• Lead SHEQ management programs for optimal project performance.
• Develop and implement HSE strategy and action plans.
• Guide project teams, ensuring compliance with SHEQ objectives.
• Manage ISO standards implementation.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage incident responses.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits, driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll need

• Relevant third-level qualification or a recognised qualification in health and safety such as Diploma/NVQ 5/ in occupational health and safety.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction.
• 3+ years SHEQ management in construction.
• Expertise in complex systems audits.
