This Construction business based in Lisburn is currently recruiting for a SHEQ administrator to join their growing team. The Role
They seek a SHEQ Administrator, to join their business, with excellent communication skills and ideally previous SHEQ administrative experience but this is not essential. They require an organised person, who enjoys a busy, process-driven role but is very adaptable to the needs of the business, and with an impeccable eye for detail. The role has a development plan to enable the successful person the opportunity to progress within the company Safety Health Environmental & Quality Department (SHEQ) to SHEQ Officer
As their SHEQ Administrator, your new job will include the following
- Support the control of statutory inspection documentation for head office and site, including electrical inspections, gas, fire equipment, lifting equipment in line with IMS requirements, facility attending contractors RAMS submission
- Revise & maintain IMS documents annually for compliance and improvement including but not limited to HSE policy, Quality policy, Registers, Non-conformance reports, objectives and processes
- Compile and communicate on organisational KPIs and compliance targets within Viewpoint and IMS
- Assess and organise training requirements, book courses, communicate attendance to the site team and update records.
- Support the documentation control within contracts file and carry out desktop audits of Viewpoint compliance in relation to QMS compliance and compile KPI tracker
- Support in the development and continuous improvement of the organisational IMS system including internal audits
The successful SHEQ Administrator will have the following skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Filing and organisation skills for document storage
- Enjoys a busy, process-driven role but is very adaptable to the needs of the business
