An exciting opportunity has arisen in Health and Safety for an experienced and dedicated HSEQ Advisor to join this leading manufacturing business in Co Antrim. As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and proactive safety culture within their organisation. Your primary focus will be continuous improvement, ensuring that health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are firmly embedded in their company culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive and proactive safety culture through engagement, leadership, empowerment, and accountability.
- Maintain, develop, and audit the integrated HSEQ Management system.
- Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilise internal auditing processes to ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements and HSEQ best practices.
- Contribute to a workplace culture that supports the physical and mental wellbeing of all employees.
- Proactively monitor and enforce HSEQ compliance across two manufacturing sites.
- Advise on control measures to prevent injuries, ill health, customer complaints, and minimise environmental impact.
- Support, implement, and improve the use of a dedicated HSEQ IT system across sites.
- Encourage positive reporting through the development of shared ownership.
- Support the organisation's targets to reduce CO2 emissions, waste, energy consumption, and water usage.
What you’ll need for this job
Proven experience in a similar HSEQ management role ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Relevant HSEQ qualifications and certifications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
