Salary and Benefits – up to £30,000
This leading food business in the Dungannon area is currently seeking to recruit a Health & Safety Officer to their safety team. As Health & Safety Officer you will be responsible for generating, implementing and maintaining H&S policies whilst continuously promoting good standards across the manufacturing facility.
Your New Health & Safety Job will involve
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to across the company.
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation for government bodies and for insurance policies.
- Assisting in implementing new processes to reduce incidents.
- Assisting in the completion of relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Carrying out routine inspections, safety tours, including collative evidence and taking samples as necessary.
- Investigating and resolving complaints in the work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and making sure that an employer is not being negligent with regards to the safety of its staff.
- Assisting in the maintaining of H&S management systems.
For this Health & Safety Officers job, you must have the following:
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Health & Safety Officers position
- Reviewing and maintain ISO Management Systems and annual external audits
- Ability to problem-solve with a pragmatic approach to work
- IOSH, NEBOSH or NCRQ
