
Junior Health and Safety Advisor – Full-Time Permanent
Location: Dublin (initially), Various Sites Across Ireland (after 6 months)
Salary €30,000 - €40,000

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor to work within the Health and Safety department of a prominent construction contractor based in Co Monaghan.
Reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will be trained, developed, and mentored to ensure the Company meets all its health and safety responsibilities and legislative requirements.
This exciting opportunity will initially involve working on a large pharmaceutical company site outside Dublin and later require travel to various sites across Monaghan, Cavan Louth and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Health and Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborating with site personnel to provide guidance and training on safety best practices.
- Assisting in incident investigations and reporting.
- Monitoring and maintaining safety records and documentation.
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Supporting the Senior Health and Safety Officer in various safety-related tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Health and Safety or a related safety qualification such as NEBOSH
- A strong commitment to safety and the ability to promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various construction sites across Ireland after the initial 6-month period.
- A valid driver's license.
