They are looking for someone who is passionate about Health and Safety and wants to build and implement Health & Safety systems in a dynamic manufacturing and construction environment.
Job Description:
As their Health & Safety Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing safety files on a project-by-project basis. You will generate risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), maintain and develop construction site standards in line with client expectations, carry out site audits and inspections, and carry out safety inductions and toolbox talks.
Key Requirements:
They are seeking a Health & Safety candidate who is comfortable working within a team and on their own initiative with excellent attention to detail. You should have strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, and a desire to work in a growing company. Familiarity with construction site regulations is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
- NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualification
- Proven understanding of health and safety legislation
- Experience in working to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Proficient in using industry-standard IT systems and software
- Full driving license
