The role:

The Health and Safety Officer reports directly to the Health & Safety Manager and will liaise with the Site Managers and site teams and will be responsible for the overall compliance in matters of environmental and health and safety on-site in accordance with company policy and relevant statutory provisions. The Health & Safety officer is responsible for various sites supporting their colleagues in managing the risks, driving cultural change and promoting safety & environmental awareness.

What you will need:

• Professionally qualified within the health and safety field (NEBOSH/NCRQ, BSc or MSc in Safety related discipline)
• Proven experience as an operational Health and Safety Officer. (Placement year considered)
• Thorough knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to positively influence others.
• IT literate.
• Full clean driving licence
