The role:
The Health and Safety Officer reports directly to the Operations Director and will liaise with the Site Safety Manager and site teams and will be responsible for the overall compliance in matters of environmental and health and safety on-site in accordance with company policy and relevant statutory provisions. The Health & Safety officer is responsible for various sites supporting their colleagues in managing the risks, driving cultural change and promoting safety & environmental awareness.
What you will need:
- Professionally qualified within the health and safety field (NEBOSH/NCRQ, BSc or MSc in Safety related discipline)
- Proven experience as an operational Health and Safety Officer.
- Thorough knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to positively influence others.
- IT literate.
- Full clean driving licence
