Are you a Health and Safety Officer looking for a new job in the Co Tyrone area? This market-leading manufacturer based in Dungannon is hiring and they require a Graduate to join their Health & Safety team.
As their Graduate Health and Safety Officer your new job will include the following:
You will primarily be responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted. You will plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that the Company is required to follow and work to, in order to minimize operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries.
The successful Health and Safety Officer will have the following skills:
- A degree or pending (BEng, BSc) or equivalent, in a safety-related discipline
- Previous placement/internship experience in a similar role
- Experience in manufacturing is desirable
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as to work independently where needed
- Clear communication skills are essential, both verbal and written, and strong Organisational skills and attention to detail both are critical in the work that we do
- Strong analytical and logical skills are essential
