As Health & Safety Manager your new job will include the following:
Responsible for the development of Health & Safety Strategy that supports the senior operations team on safety issues to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and the safeguarding of employees. You will work on strategies for the short-medium- & long-term championing improvements in site standards and driving industry best practices.
The successful Health & Safety Manager you will have the following skills:
- Proven health and safety management experience
- NEBOSH or similar qualification
- Experience successfully managing a Health & Safety function where the workforce is 100+ employees.
- A background in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to work and collaborate with others to achieve results.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, and the self-confidence to use these skills to influence others to buy into proposals and plans.
