A leading contractor in the construction industry based in Belfast is seeking an experienced and dedicated HSEQ Manager to join their team. With a commitment to excellence and sustainability, the company is looking for a professional who can lead in the development and maintenance of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

What you’ll need
- Experience: The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an HSEQ role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Certifications: A NEBOSH General Certificate is a minimum requirement. Possession of an environmental qualification such as NEBOSH or IEMA is highly desirable.
The job
- Risk Management: Demonstrate proficiency in writing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
- Site Inspections: Conduct and record site inspections, taking appropriate actions when necessary to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, near misses, etc., and produce thorough reports. Ensure effective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Training and Compliance: Ensure training, face fits, health monitoring, plant inspections, etc., are consistently kept up to date for all employees.
- ISO Management Systems: Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems to uphold quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
- Advisory Role: Provide expert advice to colleagues on HSEQ matters, fostering a culture of safety and compliance within the organisation.
