Health & Safety Advisor Job – Dublin

A Health and Safety Advisor with a good knowledge of Health & Safety and NEBOSH / IOSH qualified is required for a permanent position with a well-known contractor that operates in the power transmission and distribution sector globally. They are seeking to hire a Safety Advisor for a large Datacentre project in Blanchardstown Dublin.

The role:
Reporting to the Regional HSE Manager, the main objective of this role this person’s primary objective will be to provide Health, Safety and Environmental advice to Management & colleagues. The successful candidate will fulfil project EH&S requirements using applicable EH&S procedures, tools and methods. (Safety case regime, risk assessment, H&S plans, investigations, reporting)
What you will need:
- Professionally qualified within the Health & Safety field (NEBOSH/NCRQ, BSc or MSc in Safety);
- Proven track record as an operational Health & Safety Officer within the construction industry
- Thorough knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Knowledge of quality standards, audit procedures and integrated management systems.
- Accident and incident investigation experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to positively influence others.
- IT literate.
- Full clean driving licence
