I am currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Administrator to help set up, administrate, and manage a thorough document and information control system for a growing business that are leaders in their field. They have quickly established themselves on a world stage through innovation and disruption in their industry
Role Information
- Help manage the information distribution involved in safety management using the document control system.
- Establish from outset a close relationship to ensure that the proper procedures are put in place to maintain safety management and contractual integrity of each project.
- Communicate to the site teams the abilities of the safety management system and assist in the training, technical and procedural support for all users.
- Thoroughly police the procedures and standards defined in the project's protocols and procedures.
- Create and maintain an accurate, efficient and user-friendly filing system ensuring that reports and documents are easily found.
- General administration (to a high standard), including typing, distribution, copying and filing general correspondence. Documents can range from general correspondence to key project related information.
- Arranging key project events such as completion events, client meetings, lunches etc and ensuring that the necessary facilities and refreshments are available.
- Promote the company values and maintain company brand and procedures in line with the Safety Management System and Brand Guidelines.
- Receive all project calls in a prompt and effective manner, in line with company policy.
For this Health & Safety Administrator’s job you will need to have the following:
- Knowledge of the safety management requirements
- Document control experience
- Proven planning and process management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel
- Good organisational skills
- IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH Certificate (Desirable)
- Experience using an electronic document control system (Essential)
