As Health & Safety Officer your new job will include the following:
You will be responsible for developing and delivering workplace H&S advice, guidance, leadership and training to enhance a positive safety culture and ensure legislative compliance. You will have a hands-on approach visiting their sites around Mid-Ulster working with their operations teams to improve their systems. So No, you won’t be stuck behind a desk!
The successful Health & Safety Officer will have the following skills:
- NEBOSH (General Certificate) or NCRQ Certificate or Degree equivalent
- Min of 2-years experience in Health Safety & Environmental within a similar role, within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in site audits, implementing, and revising HS&E policies and procedures.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience producing reports
- Computer literate with sound experience using MS Office suite
- Able to work to a high degree of accuracy and with good attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative
