The job:
The Compliance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements within the Research and Development (R&D) department. The successful candidate will oversee risk-related projects, manage reporting channels, and sign off on compliance-related documents.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure the company's technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee tests and studies into the company's product compliance.
- Produce reports on compliance testing, development, and processes.
- Institute best-practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Develop strategies and implementation plans for compliance-related matters.
- Define compliance protocols and measures to stakeholders and relevant authorities.
- Advise on compliance-related matters and update standards library and risk assessments.
- Check the status of various business operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar field.
- Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with product testing and process analysis.
- Skilled in business operations or project management.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
- Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design.
- Problem-solving abilities are essential.
