Are you a Safety, Health Environment Officer, looking for a new job in the Co Cavan area? As Environmental Health & Safety Officer with this company, you will be part of the operations team and manage environmental, health and safety compliance across the business.

If you are ideally looking for a part-time job this will suit you. They are ideally offering up to 25 hours per week. Over 5 days but they will be flexible and open to discussion. Salary on offer is up to €45,000 (Pro Rata)
As their Environment Health & Safety Officer your new job will include the following:
· Actively support the operations team in ensuring compliance with their statutory obligations in the business
· Assist in the identification, assessment and control measures of safety and environmental risks
· Support and encourage innovation to achieve the companies compliance objectives
· Carry out inspections, record all observations and distribute actions accordingly. Collate evidence of closeouts for record and trend analysis;
· Co-ordinate the collection of accurate KPI data
· Report and record all incidents and carry out investigations when appropriate
· Support and where necessary, process the relevant environmental permits, consents and plans, for example, discharge consents or material management plans
· Promote the sustainability agenda and encourage project teams to engage with innovative solutions to manage environmental impacts
The successful EHS Officer you will have the following skills:
· 3rd level qualification essential
· NEBOSH or NCRQ qualified
· It is ideal that you have knowledge with ISO audits 14001 & 45001
· Have experience in Safety, Health and Environment in the workplace and the associated legislation and requirements.
