Position: Environmental/Sustainability Consultant
Location: NI, ROI, GB with a blend of office, client site, and remote work
Reporting to: Director of Environmental and Technical Services
Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000

About the Role:
As an Environmental/Sustainability Consultant, you will be at the forefront of driving positive change in our client's environmental practices. Your primary responsibility will be to lead projects and assist clients in reaching and maintaining their sustainability targets. From calculating carbon footprints and developing carbon management plans to facilitating ISO certification processes, you will play a pivotal role in making a greener future a reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct carbon footprint calculations and design effective carbon management strategies.
- Assist clients in implementing ESG Frameworks and sustainability initiatives.
- Perform comprehensive gap analyses against ISO standards to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to develop management systems aligned with ISO requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Promote our client's services to new and existing partners, fostering growth.
- Successfully execute consultancy projects within set budgets and project scopes.
- Maintain meticulous project records to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven track record in calculating carbon footprints and managing sustainability projects.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001; familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ESG is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear reporting and client interactions.
- A third-level environmental or sustainability-related qualification is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A commitment to promoting environmental responsibility and sustainability.
